I'm a B2B business lead with a focus on early to growth-stage software startups. I've worked in research and marketing for 8+ years, primarily designing go-to-market strategies for fast-growing, international tech companies.
As Director of Marketing and Interim Sales at Shyp (2017-2018), I helped pivot the company from B2C to B2B. Shyp was named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies (2016). Joined late Series B.
I hired and managed a team of four (content/product marketing, ops, market development, design), designing a scalable model for growth centered around personalization. In one quarter, grew pipeline 10x at a fraction of prior acquisition cost, for a customer segment with 3x+ pre-pivot LTV.
As a deeply cross-functional member of the leadership team, I guided go-to-market planning and customer validation to plug into our new product roadmap, financial model, operational needs, and pricing strategy.
As Head of Content Strategy at Heap (2016-17), I was the team's sole marketer, supporting a technical enterprise sale into entire organizations (buyers span data, product, marketing, engineering and consult cross-team). Tested a number of tactics including a podcast about data. Joined late seed stage.
As Content Marketing Manager at Zenefits (2015-16), I was on the founding content marketing team, helping design our first inbound growth model and support a massive outbound team selling to SMBs across US. Zenefits was named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies (2015). Joined Series B.
At Gengo (2013-15) as Sr. Content Marketer/Editorial Lead and previously Web Producer/Editor, I built the content function for our first lead generation program and managed the editorial team. Created production, localization processes for marketing across five languages. Owned campaign rollout for customers, developers, translators. Joined Series B.
Remote (NYC, Toronto)
Since 2010, I've freelanced on and off as a writer and researcher, also doing event videography, design, and website management for small businesses and agencies, including Spark Growth (2013-14), as a Copywriter.
